Slack Notifications

This article explains how to receive all Deeploy notifications directly in a Slack channel of your choosing.

Set up the integration

  1. Create a Slack app
  2. Define the app name and choose the Slack workspace where you want to receive Deeploy notifications
  3. Go to the Incoming webhooks section, and Activate incoming webhooks
  4. Add a new webhook, and select a Slack channel or direct message where you want to receive the Deeploy notifications
Note

If you select a direct message, the Webhook will say "channel not found" in the Webhooks overview. The integration will still work

  1. Copy the Webhook URL, and head over to the Admin panel and then Integrations. Navigate to Misc tab and click Configure. Enter a name for the webhook and the webhook URL. Assign it to the Workspace you want to receive notifications from and click Save.

Once the Webhook URL has been added to the Workspace, Deeploy will forward all notifications to the selected Slack channel. These notifications can currently not be filtered, so no matter what the preferences are, all notifications will be sent to the channel or direct message
